Del Bumann's 2007 Run For The Wall

Run For The Wall 2007 - Del & Corrie Bumann
Run For the Wall XIX began on Wednesday, May 16, from Ontario, CA. Ten days later, on Friday, May 25, the mission was completed as we rode into Washington, DC. This was our second year to ride “All the way” with the Central Route. The weather was near perfect as we rode across 10 states in as many days.
Del accepted the assignment of Platoon Leader the second day out, which added a whole new dimension to the Run. This was our daughter, Karla’s second year as a Road Guard.
On Sunday, May 27, we joined thousands of other motorcycles and riders in the Rolling Thunder XX.

Charlie Tapp's - "The Wall That Heals" Spartanburg, SC April 15, 2008

Charlie Tapp - Delta Co '70 recently participated in escorting The Moving Wall - Charlie shared with us this email and photos from the event.
Charlie,
Attached please find pictures from this mission.
It was an honor to ride with you on this mission. Thank you for your service to our great country and for defending the freedoms that I enjoy daily. From a patriotic teenager debating in high school over our Vietnam Veterans to being a Patriot Guard Rider, I salute you! I am truly humbled & honored to share this Patriot Spirit that burns deep within my soul. Only if PGR would have been here for Vietnam! HEAR THE RUMBLE…was not only heard, but it was seen and felt for miles! You must be proud of the Patriots of your communities of Landrum, Campobello, & Inman that lined the streets! Their Spirits shined! >From the Seniors who have experienced more wars than I care to ever see, to the Babes in the arms of their Patriot Parents, to the Children of America’s Future, I truly thank them for Welcoming Home “The Wall That Heals.”
The rest of my pictures from the Mission can be seen at http://www.patriotguard.org/photos/listpics.asp?
